MiC Talent Solutions, Inc. is collaborating with Safal Partners (“Safal”) on the continuous improvement its registered apprenticeship program (RAP). Safal’s services are provided through its US Department of Labor (USDOL) national industry intermediary contract to expand apprenticeships in cybersecurity, IT, and tech-related occupations nationwide. In September 2023 MiC Talent Solutions began training apprentices. Our one-of-a-kind Cybersecurity Workforce Immersion Model is a 12-month program where we source apprenticeship talent from underrepresented groups and train them for a specific cybersecurity role aligned to the NICE Workforce Framework. MiC Talent, through its RAP, provides both technical and leadership development training to make sure these professionals have a smooth entry into the profession. Think of MiC Talent’s RAP as an onramp into the cybersecurity profession. Apprentices receive support through technical training, additional coursework, tutors, mentors, coaches, etc. Employer partners provide on-the-job training in the specified cybersecurity role. Apprentices are contractors and shadow current employees. MiC Talent's RAP consist of ONLY two cohorts per year, one beginning in March and one in September. We start taking applications for the March cohort from January 1st through 15th. If open slots are available, applications for the September cohort will open from July 1st through 15th. The application process is competitive, and we limit our cohort to 50 apprentices per cohort or 100 apprentices per year. If in the application window please click the link below.
